Daisy & Bear was created from a love of colour, creativity, and thoughtfully designed accessories handmade to bring a little joy to everyday life.
Each piece is handcrafted in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, using polymer clay or resin and carefully curated colour palettes. From mixing custom clay colours to adding the finishing details, every item is made in small batches with care and attention to detail, using locally sourced findings.
Whether you're drawn to soft earthy tones, playful statement pieces, or something in between, Daisy & Bear is all about creating lightweight, comfortable earrings that help you express your personal style.
How it all started
What started as a simple arts-and-crafts activity to share our love of colour, glitter, and anything sparkly with my tween daughters slowly became something much more.
At first, polymer clay was just something we did together at the kitchen table. But as my tweens’ interests changed and grew in different directions (as they should), mine quietly deepened. I kept experimenting, practicing new techniques and refining my skills — learning colour theory and how tones work together; understanding balance, proportion, and texture; and spending endless hours searching for quality hardware, earring findings, and finishes. Somewhere along the way, this hobby became mine: my passion.
Over the past few years, I’ve gone through massive personal changes. There have been many months when I felt — and sometimes still feel — like I’m treading water in an endless ocean: tired, exhausted, just trying to stay afloat. In those moments, creating has been more than making earrings. It has been the one small, consistent thing that has helped me climb — slowly — out of a very deep, lonely hole.
When everything feels heavy, sitting down to mix colours or shape clay gives me something peaceful and gentle to focus on. When I feel like giving up, finishing a pair of earrings — a big process — reminds me I am still capable. When my energy is gone and mental exhaustion is escalating, making and creating gives me a reason to keep showing up.
Daisy & Bear is helping me rise and grow — very slowly, but intentionally, with more clarity and confidence. I hope this will help me heal, support my personal growth, and give me the strength to face the next chapter — whatever that may look like and wherever that may be.
